There and back again

We began our adoption adventure with China in the summer of 2005, but with the long wait we made a decision in the fall of 2006 to look into Vietnam. We were home in April 2007 with a new wonderful family.

We don't know how much more we will do with this blog. Upheaval in the Vietnam international adoption program has changed the process, and Vietnam is a country undergoing remarkable changes. Perhaps some of what we wrote is still useful, perhaps not.

While in Hanoi we tried to think about our questions before the trip, and we tried to answer them in the blog for the families who follow us. And of course while we were there new questions came up.

Thank you to all the people who supported us as readers and posters while we were away.
